Dr. Terri Wolfe and Pete Wolfe
In October 1986, Sunset Animal Clinic was opened by Dr. Terri Wolfe and her husband Pete in Suisun City on Sunset Avenue. Dr. Wolfe has been a pillar in Solano County in providing great service to the community and care to the pets for over 30 years! One of Dr. Wolfe’s main principles is providing exceptional patient care, always keeping in mind client convenience. She has developed countless relationships and has cared for thousands of beloved pets. She truly gave her heart to each and every patient and built strong, timeless bonds with her clients. In 2011, Sunset Animal Clinic moved to Fairfield, a few miles from Suisun City, to Airbase Parkway and Claybank Road. It was necessary to expand to a larger building to accommodate the increasing needs of Sunset clients. We then became Sunset Animal Hospital and Camp Sunset (boarding) with 4-6 doctors on staff and 65 employees combined.
Dr. Terri Wolfe graduated from UC Davis in 1984 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She has expanded her knowledge base to practice holistic medicine to be able to offer that option for clients. She has trained and mentored numerous technicians and veterinarians over the years.
Pete Wolfe also graduated from UC Davis and later received an MBA and shortly after he became a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Together, with much help from many great staff members, they have been able to make Sunset Animal Hospital and Camp Sunset a success in the community for over 30 years! It was their dream to provide veterinary care to everyone who walks through the doors.
Terri and Pete have 3 grown children they love spending their time with, Dave, Meg, and Taylor. They love to travel and experience different cultures of the world. They are blessed with a fur family of 2 dogs “Braddock” their 3 year old Boxer, “Sherlock” their wise 9 year old German Shepherd and "Mack" the cat. The Wolfe’s have always been Boxer lovers and will always have one in their company, as “Braddock is a well – traveled Boxer!
Terri and Pete’s favorite part of Sunset Animal Hospital and Camp Sunset is working with the people and to meet whatever needs the clients have with their pets, through the years they are pleased with a peace of mind of having created many lasting bonds with clients and their pets.
