Camp Sunset enjoys providing an enriching environment to your pet. We offer day camp for all breeds that pass our initial assessment. The guests enjoy playing with others their size in addition to getting some sunshine therapy as well. We have bubbles, balls and play structures for all of our campers to choose from. Our camp counselors are trained to continually assess play throughout the day to maintain a safe and stress-free environment for all of our guests. Our pet parents are given a report card of how their furry friend did for the day and we are able offer some at-home activities for continued social success!
To qualify for Day Camp, all of our guests are fully vaccinated** (Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP, K9 Influenza strains H3N2 & H3N8) and altered (puppies 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered). Our facility does not limit the breeds that are able to be in our cage-free day camp. All guests will need to pass an initial assessment, if they do not pass we are able to re-assess after 6 months (if pet has had training), or a year (if no formal training). We will be able to offer some ideas of what our pet parents can do at home for the future success of their pet to pass the next assessment.
Just like children our pets sustain minor cuts and scrapes from playing, so we have veterinarians on the premises to address it when it happens. This offers peace of mind for our pet parents to be able to have a veterinary hospital attached to our boarding facility, as we have qualified staff to address any type of medical emergency!
